From the morning of Wednesday 26th July for several days the bridleway running from Lime Road behind the Upper Louie Memorial Playing Field will be closed whilst repair works are being carried out by a County Council contractor. It is hoped that the works will be completed by the weekend but they could possibly continue into the next week. Access to the Playing Fields via other entrances will not be affected, however, please be aware that some materials will be transported around the outer edge of the Upper Playing Field to the bridleway so please take care if you are walking there during the times that vehicles are present especially if you are walking a dog. The contractors will be utilising banksmen, signage and barriers to ensure public safety throughout the works.
